FrameShift launches 'AutoFrame' tool for automatic layout of video feeds

FrameShift's AutoFrame uses computer vision and scene understanding to create aesthetically pleasing multi-feed layouts for live streams and virtual events. The system detects speakers, groups related content, and adapts transitions based on social cues and speaking order.
The $16 million Series A will be invested in scaling real-time infrastructure and integrating with broadcast workflows. FrameShift aims to reduce manual switching and layout adjustments that broadcasters currently handle during live events.
AutoFrame provides templates tuned for news desks, panel discussions, and multi-camera performances, plus an API for web conferencing platforms to embed the service. Early pilots report smoother production flows and fewer on-air layout glitches.
