FrameShift Secures $14M Seed to Launch Adaptive Layout Engine for Responsive Design

FrameShift announced a $14 million seed round led by Pixel Ventures to develop an adaptive layout engine that bridges designer intent and production UI across breakpoints. The SDK allows teams to encode constraints and intent into components so layouts adapt predictably across device sizes.

The product integrates with design tools to sync constraints and exposes runtime APIs for dynamic content changes. FrameShift's approach aims to reduce the manual work often required when responsive interfaces must reconcile copy changes, image aspect ratios, and complex nested grids.

The funding will hire engineers and product designers to refine the constraints language and build integrations for popular frontend frameworks. Early trials show a measurable reduction in layout regressions and cross-team handoff time.
