GameForge secures $30M to scale its cloud-native dev platform and launches Alpha SDK

GameForge announced a $30 million Series B led by Ember Capital and launched an Alpha SDK that packages its cloud-hosted multiplayer services, matchmaking, and live ops telemetry. The startup positions itself as an alternative to legacy engines that require heavy ops investment for scale.

The SDK exposes deterministic rollback networking, server-authoritative physics snippets, and a visual flow editor for configuring events and challenges. Game teams can deploy microservices to GameForge's managed runtime and use built-in analytics to iterate on gameplay balance.

GameForge plans to use the new funding to expand its footprint in Asia and add production-grade features like regional autoscaling and built-in anti-cheat modules. Early adopters include two indie studios and a mid-tier publisher running live betas on the platform.
