GigaPlay lands $55M to build cloud-native AAA streaming tools for developers

GigaPlay announced a $55 million Series B led by Atlas Fund to expand its cloud-native tooling for streaming AAA games. The company provides a developer-focused streaming layer that exposes telemetry, frame capture, and deterministic replay for debugging across distributed teams.
Their platform also offers per-player feature flags, automated playtests at scale, and hooks for live ops that allow safe experiment rollout. GigaPlay argues these developer-first features bridge the gap between cloud streaming and modern continuous deployment practices used in other software domains.
The funding will scale global edge capacity, lower per-instance costs, and add SDKs for popular engines. Several mid-size studios participating in early trials reported faster bug triage and smoother remote QA cycles.
