GlassHouse Games Raises $38M to Launch StoryWeave, an AI Narrative Engine for Single-Player Titles
Gaming · 6 min read
GlassHouse Games raised $38 million in Series B funding to commercialize StoryWeave, which uses large language models and structured narrative graphs to create adaptive story content tailored to player choices. The investment was led by Narrative Capital and a mix of industry publishers.
StoryWeave integrates with game engines and allows designers to define high-level beats while the engine generates dialogue variants, NPC motivations, and quest permutations. The system provides controls for tone, pacing, and canonical story points to ensure editorial consistency.
GlassHouse will onboard studio partners for early integrations with titles planned for 2027 releases. The funding will be used to enhance offline authoring tools, build guardrails for copyright-safe generation, and hire narrative designers to collaborate with AI outputs.
