Glyph AI Launches Plug-in for Figma That Generates Accessible UI Variants, Raises $15M Seed

Glyph AI, a newcomer in the design tooling space, closed a $15 million seed round led by Inclusive Capital and Angel syndicates specializing in design tooling. The company says funds will accelerate product development and expand integrations into other design platforms.
The new plug-in analyzes frames and components in Figma, offering alternate layouts and color schemes that meet WCAG guidelines, plus suggested ARIA labels and screen-reader friendly copy. Designers can preview how each variant performs against accessibility metrics and export adjusted assets directly.
Glyph's pitch is pragmatic: make accessibility an integral part of the design workflow rather than a late-stage audit. Early testers within enterprise design systems reported a significant reduction in remediation cycles and better collaboration with engineering and QA teams.
