Glyph VR launches 'Design Rooms'—shared spatial whiteboards for VR UX teams

Design Rooms supports embedding interactive mockups, live screensharing and spatial annotations that persist in 3D. Designers can pin notes to objects, measure distances and iterate on layout in full scale while collaborators join from mixed reality headsets or flat screens.

The product supports version history and snapshot exports so teams can archive critiques and maintain traceability for design decisions. Glyph VR also offers low-latency streaming for high-fidelity prototypes to ensure performance in shared spaces.

While adoption is still early, several agencies are using Design Rooms for immersive storytelling and spatial wayfinding exercises. Glyph sees potential beyond VR: the tool is useful whenever scale and spatial relationships matter.

Design leads said spatial critiques help teams reason about scale and movement early, reducing expensive rework once assets are baked into engines or physical spaces.
