Outputs adhere to Material Design guidelines and include accessibility checks.

Google's tooling supports explainable suggestions so designers get rationale for color choices, spacing, and motion suggestions rooted in Material principles. The kit also supports export workflows for Android, iOS, and web, generating tokens in formats commonly used by frameworks.

Google Design is pitching the kit as a way to scale design system maintenance, especially for large product portfolios. Enterprises can host private models and token registries to keep brand assets centralized and governed.
