Google launches Gemini Studio: end-to-end tool for multimodal product prototypes
Tech · 6 min read
Google introduced Gemini Studio, a unified environment that merges multimodal AI models with a design canvas to prototype complex product experiences involving voice, visuals, and chat. Teams can stitch flow simulations, demo interactions, and iterate on persona behavior without writing backend code.
Gemini Studio exposes model parameters and response simulators, so designers can test edge cases and measure conversational metrics like latency and fallbacks. The studio includes connectors for major analytics and testing platforms to gather simulated user metrics and to validate designs before development.
Privacy and safety controls are front and center: Google ships sandboxed simulation environments and exportable transcripts that include model provenance and mitigation notes. Product teams see the studio as a way to accelerate cross-discipline collaboration between designers, PMs, and engineers.
