Google Photos and Workspace get AI layout and composition suggestions for creators

Google Photos and Workspace now include AI-driven layout assistants that propose image arrangements, crop suggestions, and typographic pairings. The assistant takes into account focal points detected in images, safe margins for text overlays, and export targets such as Instagram stories or 16:9 presentations.
For Workspace users, the assistant also respects organization-level brand tokens and color palettes, ensuring automatic layouts remain on-brand. Designers can lock elements, regenerate alternative layouts, or extract suggested components back into Figma-compatible assets.
The feature streamlines content creation workflows by removing repeated manual tasks like centering assets or testing multiple aspect ratios. Marketing teams and social content creators should find the speedups especially valuable for tight publishing timelines.
