Google releases Gemini App SDK to accelerate on-device multimodal features

The Gemini App SDK packages model runtimes, tokenizer utilities, and a multimodal input pipeline tailored for Android devices. It supports text, image, and audio inputs and includes utilities for assistant-style interactions and contextual prompts.
