Google Stadia-Like Cloud Gaming APIs Reintroduced for Android TV Partners

Google's new cloud gaming API for Android TV partners brings discovery at the system level: streaming services can list game previews in the main UI and deep-link into sessions with single-click pairing.

The API also exposes controller telemetry and latency diagnostics to help services adapt stream parameters in real time. Partners can use adaptive bitrate and input prediction hooks to reduce perceived lag on variable networks.

Google positioned the package for OEMs and game-streaming providers who want native-level integration without reintroducing a centralized Stadia storefront. The move hopes to make cloud gaming a first-class citizen on Android TV devices.
