GridOS launches a modular OS for edge devices and raises $27M to accelerate partner integrations

GridOS offers a small-footprint kernel plus a marketplace of verified edge services that can be deployed to sensors, robots, and industrial controllers. The architecture isolates runtime components so teams can update perception stacks without rebooting critical control loops.

The $27 million Series A led by Flux Labs will fund partnership engineering with semiconductor vendors and OEMs, along with improved tooling for remote fleet management. GridOS highlights use cases in smart warehouses and autonomous vehicles where uptime and predictability are essential.

The company also released SDKs for Rust and C++, a secure boot pipeline, and a telemetry agent optimized for lossless delivery over intermittent networks. Early partners report faster OTA rollouts and reduced integration overhead when onboarding new sensors.
