GuildPlay raised $14 million in funding to expand its indie-focused publishing services and launched a new tool that unifies cross-platform store submissions, builds, live ops, and revenue allocation for small studios.
The platform provides a Unity integration that automates asset pipelines, versioned builds, and store metadata, and includes live ops dashboards for patching and player events. Monetization templates and legal contract starters are included to speed time to market.
GuildPlay will use the funds to scale customer success and expand storefront partnerships. The company also plans to offer revenue advances for promising indie projects and a marketplace for QA and localization services.
Indie developers welcomed the simplified workflow and financial scaffolding, noting that many smaller teams struggle with the administrative overhead of launching and maintaining live titles across multiple platforms.
