HaloAI raises $50M to launch Assist — a contextual coding assistant for product designers
AI · 5 min read
Assist hooks into designers' workflows—Figma, Notion, GitHub—and uses a blend of retrieval and fine‑tuned models to produce component code, interaction notes, and QA checklists that align with a project's style guide. HaloAI emphasizes auditability and traceability for enterprise compliance.
The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz with participation from Salesforce Ventures and several enterprise design leads. HaloAI plans to expand its dataset of design systems, invest in security audits, and build an on‑prem option for regulated industries.
Pilot implementations in fintech and healthcare reduced cross‑team miscommunication and shortened sprint cycles. HaloAI will open its enterprise beta next month and make a developer API available later in the year.
