HaloMesh gets $9M to release a collaborative 3D prototyping workspace for product designers

HaloMesh raised $9 million in seed financing led by Praxis Ventures and released Halo Studio, a cloud workspace for 3D prototyping. Studio supports concurrent editing, versioned comments anchored in 3D space, and integrated bill-of-materials previews to help teams iterate on hardware concepts.

The platform imports CAD and polygonal assets, offers parametric adjustments, and provides lightweight simulation overlays for weight and balance estimates. Teams can annotate in-situ, attach supplier notes, and export assemblies directly to manufacturing prep tools.

HaloMesh will use the funds to expand integrations with mainstream CAD packages, grow its simulation capabilities, and build enterprise admin features for access control and IP management.
