Haptix launches tactile prototyping kit for designers and secures $10M seed to scale manufacturing
Design · 4 min read
Haptix’s kit includes modular actuator modules, a mobile app for pattern sequencing, and a desktop analytics suite that visualizes actuator output relative to human perception curves. Designers can plug modules into prototypes to iterate on touch feedback without bespoke hardware engineering.
The $10 million seed was co-led by Sensory Capital and DesignWorks Ventures. Funds will scale manufacturing of compact actuators and expand integrations with major prototyping platforms, including both physical and digital prototyping environments.
Design teams using Haptix report faster iteration cycles on micro-interactions and better stakeholder alignment by being able to literally feel proposed feedback. The startup plans to launch industry webinars and a library of validated haptic patterns for common use cases.
