Lead investors included Meridian Partners and Skyline Growth, with participation from strategic telco operators. The capital will fund additional satellites, ground station expansion, and upgrades to the adaptive mesh routing software that differentiates HelioMesh’s service.
HelioMesh’s consumer beta pairs inexpensive user terminals with a dynamic satellite mesh to route traffic by latency and congestion, promising lower jitter for video calls and gaming compared to traditional bent-pipe systems. The company says software updates on the ground and in-orbit will progressively reduce latency.
Beta applicants in underserved regions have reported stable connections for telehealth and remote work. HelioMesh plans a wider rollout next year and announced partnerships with local ISPs for regional reselling and customer support.
