Helix Dynamics announced a $50 million round led by Industrial Ventures to commercialize a platform that combines robotics, simulation and AI-driven layout optimization for warehouses and fulfillment centers. The product simulates human-robot workflows and proposes layout changes to improve throughput and safety.
The company's system uses reinforcement learning to generate robot motion planners that respect ergonomic constraints and human comfort zones. Designers and operations managers can run scenario comparisons and visualize trade-offs in real time within the platform.
Funding will go to hardware production, tighter integrations with major warehouse management systems, and pilot deployments with logistics partners. Helix Dynamics aims to reduce ramp time for mixed human-robot facilities and lower injury rates.
