HoloForge Debuts HoloCanvas and Raises $30M to Bring AR Prototyping to Designers
Design · 5 min read
HoloForge launched HoloCanvas, a platform that allows designers to create, annotate, and test augmented reality interfaces directly in physical spaces using a tablet or AR headset. The company raised $30 million in a seed-plus round led by Spatial Ventures to accelerate development and enterprise integrations.
HoloCanvas features collaborative editing, spatial placement tools, and real-time usability analytics that capture gaze, reachability, and occlusion issues. It exports to common AR runtimes and includes device-aware previews for consumer headsets and enterprise glasses.
HoloForge will target industries like retail, industrial training, and architecture, where spatial UX can substantially alter workflows. The funding will expand SDK capabilities and establish partnerships with hardware manufacturers to ensure consistent experiences across devices.
