HoloFrame unveils AR design suite and raises $27M to push spatial UI standards

HoloFrame released its spatial design suite targeted at product teams building AR and mixed-reality experiences. The tool includes primitives for surface anchoring, depth-aware layout, and occlusion testing, enabling designers to prototype spatial interactions without heavy engineering overhead.

The company also raised $27 million led by Horizon Partners to grow its standards effort and funding for SDKs that output runtime-ready assets for major AR platforms. HoloFrame plans to work with industry consortia to define consistent spatial affordances and interaction metaphors.

Early adopters praised the suite's collaborative scene graph and real-time preview features that sync with headsets. HoloFrame's roadmap highlights developer integrations, runtime performance profiling, and advanced physics-based interaction tools.
