HoloSketch raises $10M and launches SketchXR for spatial UI prototyping

HoloSketch announced a $10M seed round led by SpatialSeed and launched SketchXR, an application for prototyping spatial interfaces with realistic physics, hand-tracking emulation, and multi-user playback. SketchXR is meant to accelerate iteration on AR/VR interfaces by collapsing the gap between design and runtime.

The product includes export hooks for engine runtimes, annotated interaction timelines for usability testing, and an embedding feature that allows designers to bring live prototypes into physical spaces via AR. HoloSketch emphasized support for both high-fidelity simulation and low-fidelity concepting.

Funding will be used to improve device support, expand asset libraries, and build integrations with UX research platforms for in-headset moderated testing. Early studios using SketchXR reported faster validation cycles and clearer developer handoffs for spatial interactions.
