They reduced opacity and size of non-critical elements, introduced progressive reveal for enemy health bars, and moved status effects into a compact stackable panel. They also added text size options and contrast settings to improve accessibility.
Playtests and telemetry showed players spent less time pausing to read HUD elements and more time engaging with mechanics; average session length rose 11% and win rates improved among new players by 7%. Post-launch feedback praised the cleaner look and the ability to toggle HUD density for different skill levels.
