HushAudio launches WhisperPad, a design tool for spatial audio workflows

HushAudio debuted WhisperPad, a desktop and web app that lets sound designers place, tune, and automate spatial audio scenes with real-time previews for multiple playback setups. WhisperPad supports binaural rendering, ambisonics, and multi-speaker arrays with integrated ear models.

The tool includes a visual timeline, parametric motion paths, and a compatibility checker to ensure mixes translate across consumer devices. HushAudio emphasizes a workflow where designers can live-capture movement data and map it to audio sources, enabling motion-reactive audio for AR/VR and interactive installations.

HushAudio closed a $9 million seed round led by Studio Seed to hire additional audio DSP engineers, build more device profiles, and launch a plugin ecosystem so major DAWs and game engines can import and export WhisperPad scenes.
