HushDock Launches Wearable Privacy Hub for Hybrid Workers After $35M Seed

HushDock's newly announced wearable is a puck-sized device meant to sit in a pocket or clip to clothing; it broadcasts encrypted context signals to nearby headsets, cameras, and smart speakers to enforce user-defined privacy states. The product integrates with macOS, Windows, and major conferencing platforms to toggle device behavior during meetings or work sessions.

The $35 million seed round was led by Nova Ventures with participation from several consumer tech funds and angel investors from the wearable space. The capital will fund manufacturing scale-up, certification, and an enterprise pilot program for hybrid workplaces.

HushDock emphasizes local-first processing: audio field sensors and a small edge-NPU perform on-device classification to allow blanket muting of microphones or selective sensor blocking without uploading raw data. For offices concerned about surveillance, the device offers easy network-based enrollment and policy enforcement for distributed teams.
