IndiePlay Network announced an $8M seed round led by Nightjar Ventures to build a platform that aggregates storefronts, simplifies revenue splits and offers unified analytics for indie creators. The startup aims to reduce administrative overhead and give creators predictable payouts.
The product includes a dashboard for revenue forecasting, automated tax and compliance tooling, and options for flexible revenue splits among collaborators. IndiePlay also plans to add promotion tools and community discovery features to boost visibility for small titles.
Beta access opens to a limited cohort of developers this quarter, with a public launch planned for early 2027. Founders said the funding will be used to expand the team, build publisher integrations and support legal frameworks for international payouts.
