Kite Studio raises $12M to launch 'Design Conversations', an AI critique assistant
Design · 3 min read
Kite Studio, founded by design leads from adtech and product design firms, closed $12 million in seed funding led by StudioBridge. Its product, Design Conversations, plugs into design files and provides automated critique on composition, accessibility, naming, and layout consistency.
The assistant surfaces concrete suggestions — for example, alternative color pairings with WCAG contrast scores or simplified layout approaches that improve hierarchy. It also tracks design decisions and produces changelogs to help teams reason about iterations.
Kite Studio plans to expand recommendations with domain-specific models for e-commerce, enterprise software, and gaming UI. The funding will grow the ML and design teams and support enterprise integrations with Figma and Adobe Cloud.
