LoomGrid raises $40M to commercialize 'Weave', a collaborative data visualization workspace

LoomGrid introduced Weave, which allows teams to co-edit visualizations, annotate datasets in context, and build narrative dashboards that retain edit history. The interface blends spreadsheet interactions with graphical authoring, aiming to reduce handoffs between analysts and designers.

The $40 million funding will expand connectors to enterprise data warehouses, implement fine-grained access controls, and add automated layout suggestions informed by data semantics. LoomGrid positions Weave for product analytics, UX research, and executive storytelling.

Weave includes a versioned canvas for iterative storytelling, built-in chart recommendations, and exportable components for embedding in product pages. Early adopters report faster cross-functional decision cycles and fewer static report handoffs.
