LoomLab launches low-latency collaborative VR prototyping headset

LoomLab released the LoomOne headset and accompanying collaborative platform aimed at design teams that need realistic, synchronous prototyping and usability testing. The company emphasized lower latency than typical consumer headsets and a design workflow oriented around iterative testing and stakeholder review.

The hardware features inside-out tracking optimized for hand interactions, a new spatial audio suite for mixed-reality facilitation, and a cloud sync engine that mirrors prototypes in real time. LoomLab also ships a set of ergonomics-first accessories and a mobile capture tool for remote participants.

LoomLab said the device will ship to enterprise customers in Q3, with a developer program opening today to integrate existing prototyping tools. Pricing targets mid-market teams with per-seat subscriptions that bundle cloud rendering, analytics, and team rooms.
