LoopDeck launches tactile controller for creative software with SDK and design partnership program

LoopDeck's new controller blends pressure-sensitive dials, capacitive sliders and a grid of programmable touchpads with low-latency haptic responses. The device ships with presets for animation, prototyping and audio tools and includes an SDK for custom integrations.

The company is partnering with design tool vendors to release official profiles for interaction design workflows, including animation scrub control, timeline manipulation and quick-access component libraries. LoopDeck hopes the tactile surface will reduce menu diving and speed iteration.

A key differentiator is the customizable top plate — users can swap texture modules tailored for different disciplines (sketching, mixing, scrubbing) and create macros that chain multiple actions into single gestures.

LoopDeck is positioning the product toward agencies and studios; it will be available via pre-order with a developer kit offering early access to the SDK for plugin creators.
