LoopThreads raises $8M and launches TextileAI to auto-generate UI fabric and motion specs

LoopThreads announced an $8M seed round led by Loom Capital and released TextileAI, a tool that translates wireframes, brand tokens, and content hierarchies into consistent UI fabric and motion specifications. TextileAI produces spacing systems, responsive breakpoints, and explicit animation curves for common transitions.
TextileAI outputs machine-readable tokens for design systems and exports motion specs compatible with production tools. The startup focuses on reducing inconsistencies and the manual work required to codify spacing and motion into a design system.
Funds will support model training on diverse design patterns, deeper integrations with design tools, and library creation for different platform contexts (web, mobile, TV). LoopThreads says early adopters saw a 50% reduction in the time to publish new components to a design system.
