Lumen Labs raises $34M to ship color management hardware for designers

Lumen Labs closed a $34 million Series A led by Lightspeed to develop a ProColor hardware colorimeter and accompanying cloud service that synchronizes color profiles across devices and collaborative design tools. The hardware pairs with a cloud-managed server that applies consistent ICC profiles and dynamic gamut mapping.

The company promotes use cases where accurate color across mobile, web, print, and AR is critical, such as fashion, product photography, and brand marketing. Lumen Labs also released a plugin that integrates color correction directly into popular design apps and image editors.

Funding will go toward manufacturing, certification, and building enterprise features like device fleet management, role-based access, and audit logs for regulated industries.
