Lumen Studio launches AI-driven color system tooling for product teams

Lumen Studio today launched ColorIQ, a design system tool that generates accessible color palettes and exports synchronized design tokens for Figma, CSS, Android and iOS. The company says ColorIQ uses a combination of perceptual color models and user-defined brand constraints to generate harmonized palettes that meet WCAG AA/AAA thresholds automatically.
The product integrates directly into Figma via a plugin and offers a web UI for engineering teams to pull language-specific token packages. A notable feature is a "living contrast checker" that flags components across design files and code repos when token values drift from accessibility thresholds.
Early adopters include two major fintechs that used ColorIQ to reduce cross-platform color bugs and to shorten design-to-dev handoff cycles. Lumen Studio priced ColorIQ as a seat-based SaaS with enterprise token sync and a Git-backed token registry for design ops teams.
