LumenAI Announces 'Design Memory' — a Database for Reusable Product Knowledge

Design Memory uses embeddings to map UI patterns, research notes, and past decisions into a retrieval-ready index so teams can find prior solutions and rationale. The system surfaces trade-offs and links to source artifacts, aiming to reduce duplicated design work across teams.

The Series A will be used to add richer reasoning layers, enterprise-grade governance, and deeper integrations with design and product management tools. LumenAI says the product helps both designers and PMs answer questions like "Has anyone solved this interaction before?" within minutes.

Pilot customers reported faster onboarding for new team members and a measurable drop in reworking previously solved problems. LumenAI plans to roll out an enterprise edition with role-based access and an audit trail for decision provenance.
