LumenArc launches BlinkLens: a compact AR headset with 10-hour battery and new spatial OS

Hardware startup LumenArc announced BlinkLens, a compact augmented reality headset aimed at designers and architects who need long battery life and high-fidelity spatial overlays. The company also closed a $28M funding round led by ArchVest and SignalSeed to scale manufacturing and software development.

BlinkLens uses a custom waveguide and low-power microLEDs to achieve a reported 10 hours of mixed-use battery life and integrates a new SpatialOS that exposes precise depth meshes, occlusion layers, and anchored annotation tools directly to desktop design suites. LumenArc positions the headset as a bridge between CAD workflows and on-site visualization.

LumenArc plans a developer program to port plugins from popular design apps and will provide an SDK for creating anchored collaborative spaces where multiple designers can annotate the same physical environment. Early access units will ship to beta partners in Q4 2026, with a consumer and pro SKU planned for 2027.
