Maple Systems raises $11M to launch NativeGrid, a responsive grid system for complex web apps

Maple Systems introduced NativeGrid, a design system primitive aimed at complex dashboards, reporting apps, and data visualizations. NativeGrid combines a CSS engine with component libraries that preserve column alignment, semantic grouping, and keyboard navigation across responsive breakpoints.
The $11 million seed round, led by Blossom Capital, will fund deeper integrations with charting libraries, runtime utilities to auto-collapse columns on small screens, and design-tool plugins to preview grid behavior. Maple Systems said the product is designed to solve real-world layout problems that standard responsive frameworks struggle with.
Product teams piloting NativeGrid reported faster builds for admin consoles and fewer layout regressions during sprint handoffs. Maple Systems will offer open-source core primitives with enterprise extensions for complex use cases and cross-team governance.
