MentorAI announced a $25 million seed round led by EdVentures and launched TutorForge, a tutoring platform that personalizes lessons across text, image, and short video formats. TutorForge generates stepwise practice problems, creates scaffolded hints, and provides teachers with dashboards to monitor progress and intervene. The system supports audio explanations and short video walkthroughs the platform generates to illustrate concepts.

Crucially, MentorAI designed TutorForge with teacher-in-the-loop controls and curriculum mapping so educators can approve and edit generated materials. The platform also offers privacy controls for student data and reporting features to meet district compliance needs.

The funds will be used to expand curriculum coverage, localize content across languages, and build partnerships with school districts and adult learning providers. MentorAI positions TutorForge as an augmentation tool for teachers, not a replacement, emphasizing improved individualization at scale.
