Meta releases Llama3-XL with audio-visual alignment for immersive UI generation

Meta today introduced Llama3-XL, a multimodal model that aligns audio tracks with visual timelines to generate synchronized UI animations, captions, and annotation layers. The model can take a voiceover script and produce timed on-screen motion and text cues that designers can tweak.

Llama3-XL produces structured exports compatible with After Effects and web animation frameworks, allowing teams to preserve timelines and keyframes rather than receiving flattened videos. This makes it practical for generating micro-animations and onboarding flows that require precise timing.

Meta also launched a developer SDK that simplifies integrating the model into creative tools and game engines. The company stressed safety features to prevent deepfake misuse and added watermarking metadata for assets generated with Llama3-XL.
