Microsoft Copilot Layout v2 brings multi-page inference and design token sync

Copilot Layout v2 can analyze multi-page documents and make consistent cross-page suggestions like unified headers, navigation patterns, and shared component updates. The model now syncs directly with design tokens stored in Figma or Adobe, ensuring suggestions reference canonical variables.

Microsoft emphasized governance: admins can set constraints on style drift, require human approval for brand-critical pages, and audit suggestion histories. The company is also expanding on-device inference options for customers handling sensitive data.

The update is available within Microsoft 365 and as part of the Copilot Studio for enterprise customers. Microsoft is partnering with several large enterprises to pilot the multi-page capabilities in regulated contexts, such as internal portals and policy documents.
