Microsoft Designer updates include 'TokenSync' for live alignment with Fluent UI tokens

TokenSync links Designer documents to a central token repository so changes to color, spacing, and typography tokens propagate as suggested updates across files.

Designers can preview token substitutions in context and accept or pin local overrides. The tool flags divergent tokens and offers migration paths to reconcile inconsistencies.

Microsoft says TokenSync reduces drift between design and implementation, shortening the feedback loop between product, design, and engineering teams.
