Microsoft launches Copilot Canvas to bridge slide design and interface prototyping

Copilot Canvas reads meeting notes, project briefs, and attached assets to propose slide decks and interface mockups aligned with a project's visual language. It produces annotated screens, suggested user flows, and handoff-ready asset packs compatible with PowerPoint, Figma, and front-end frameworks.

The product includes brand controls and governance features for enterprise customers, ensuring generated outputs adhere to corporate design guidelines. Copilot Canvas also offers an export pipeline that generates accessible HTML prototypes for quick stakeholder demos.

Microsoft highlighted integrations with Teams and Azure for collaborative review and empirical testing, positioning Copilot Canvas as a productivity multiplier for cross-functional teams that need to move from idea to prototype quickly.
