Microsoft launches Copilot Forge: model fine-tuning UI for design teams
AI · 6 min read
Copilot Forge provides a no-code interface to upload examples (copy pairs, brand images, UI screenshots) and create fine-tuning jobs that produce team-specific model variants. The tool includes dataset quality checks, preview sandboxes, and a rollback mechanism for model updates.
For design-specific workflows, Forge offers alignment templates — tone of voice, accessibility preferences, and brand constraints — which are applied during fine-tuning. Teams can A/B multiple tuned variants in controlled experiments and route user cohorts to different Copilot behaviors.
Microsoft built enterprise controls for policy, audit logs, and performance budgets so product teams can safely deploy tuned models. Copilot Forge integrates with Microsoft 365 and GitHub for easy consumption within existing feature pipelines.
