Microsoft launches ShipHub Copilot with visual diffing for product teams
Tech · 4 min read
ShipHub Copilot integrates with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and popular design tools to produce visual diffs that highlight UI changes between iterations. The assistant uses design and code inputs to contextualize changes, flagging potential regressions in layout, token usage, or accessibility.
When preparing releases, the copilot drafts release notes and a prioritized risk summary based on diff severity and historical bug data. It can also auto-create tickets for designers or engineers with repro steps and suggested fixes derived from similar past issues.
Microsoft positioned ShipHub as a bridge between design and engineering workflows, reducing ambiguity during launches. Early corporate pilots reported fewer surprise regressions in A/B tests and clearer cross-team communication around UI changes.
