Microsoft releases Copilot Design SDK with components tuned for enterprise workflows
Tech · 5 min read
The Copilot Design SDK bundles reusable components, API connectors, and model adapters focused on enterprise needs—automated mockups from meeting notes, compliance-aware content filters, and integrations with Microsoft 365 asset stores. The SDK makes it easier for platform partners to embed Copilot features directly into design tools and workplace apps.
A central capability is meeting-notes-to-mockups: Copilot ingests structured notes, user stories, and acceptance criteria to produce initial mockups and annotated specs linked back to the original meeting transcript. Microsoft highlights built-in compliance checks for regulated industries, flagging possible data leakage and recommending anonymization steps.
The SDK also includes style adapters so enterprises can enforce brand guidelines and tokens within generated outputs. Microsoft positions Copilot Design as an enterprise-grade toolchain component, emphasizing governance, auditability, and integration with internal asset management systems.
