Microsoft unveils Copilot Studio 2.0 with UX-focused prompt templates and A/B testing hooks

Copilot Studio 2.0 ships with a library of UX prompt templates—onboarding flows, error recovery, suggestion chips—so designers can generate consistent microcopy and messages aligned to product goals. Each template includes guardrails for length, tone, and CTA behavior.

A/B testing hooks let teams generate multiple content variants and route traffic to them while automatically correlating conversion and engagement metrics. The platform captures which variants lead to fewer support tickets or higher task completion, enabling data-driven copy decisions.

Microsoft also added collaboration features that let product managers pin acceptable variants and let engineering export selected outputs as code snippets. The integration shortens the gap between AI-assisted idea generation and production rollouts.
