Mimesis Labs Launches PersonaX: Synthetic Patient Data Platform for Clinical AI
AI · 4 min read
PersonaX generates richly annotated synthetic patient records—combining notes, labs, imaging meta-data, and device telemetry—specifically designed for training and validating clinical AI models. Mimesis Labs highlights governance features like lineage tracking, consent simulation, and differential privacy knobs.
The platform allows researchers to spin up cohorts that mirror target demographics and disease prevalence while avoiding PHI leaks. PersonaX also includes tooling for simulating longitudinal care pathways and rare-event scenarios, which are often underrepresented in real-world datasets.
Alongside the product launch, Mimesis announced a $7.5 million seed extension from health-tech investors and university research funds. The company said funds will support clinical validation projects, regulatory advisory, and integrations with major EHR vendors to enable federated training workflows.
