Miro introduces BoardGPT for sticky-note summarization and design research synthesis
Tech · 3 min read
Miro announced BoardGPT, an AI assistant that summarizes complex boards, extracts action items, and synthesizes research snippets into structured insights. BoardGPT can traverse multiple frames and sticky-note clusters to recognize themes, sentiment, and suggested next steps for project teams.
The tool includes a 'research synthesis' workflow: upload interview notes and board annotations, and BoardGPT returns persona sketches, prioritized pain points, and suggested design hypotheses. It also exports findings into Confluence or Notion-friendly formats to streamline handoffs.
Miro emphasized collaboration features like change-tracking and contributor attribution for generated summaries. Several product teams reported that BoardGPT reduced the time to produce research briefs and helped align remote teams after design sprints.
