Miro launches AI-driven research synthesis cards to auto-summarize testing sessions
Tech · 3 min read
Miro's synthesis cards analyze uploaded recordings, transcripts, and notes to produce concise highlights, observed patterns, and prioritized issues. The cards automatically group similar comments and tag them with severity recommendations and suggested next steps. Designers can customize clustering thresholds and export structured reports for stakeholders.
The feature also integrates with ticketing systems and design boards so issues can be turned into tasks complete with contextual snippets and time-coded recordings. Miro emphasized privacy controls, allowing organizations to limit cloud processing and enable on-prem inference for sensitive projects.
Research teams reported significant time savings in triangulating findings across sessions, although some power users requested finer controls for theme detection and the ability to export synthesis as user journey maps. Miro said those enhancements are in the roadmap and that the initial release focuses on delivering immediate value for small to midsize research teams.
