Mosaic Motorsports raises $16M to build a cloud-powered esports racing platform

Mosaic's platform streams synchronized physics and audio to players to enable competitive racing across variable client hardware. The company integrates server-authoritative physics with local input prediction to hit latency targets under 80 ms for most regions.

A notable feature is in-race modding: creators can publish visual skins, UI overlays, and track-side interactive elements that can be rapidly layered into live events. Mosaic provides a marketplace and moderation tools to ensure quality and fairness.

The $16 million round led by London Venture Partners will go toward latency optimization, global edge expansion, and console partnerships to broaden the player base. Mosaic also plans to offer private leagues and operator tools for tournament organizers.

Esports organizers valued Mosaic's flexibility and the potential to reduce friction for cross-platform competitions. The company will launch closed beta tournaments for regional leagues later this summer.
