Mural Studio launches 'Mural Live' for synchronous whiteboard co-creation

Mural Studio launched Mural Live, a real-time co-creation workspace that aims to reduce workshop friction for distributed product and UX teams. The product focuses on low-latency drawing, synchronized cursors, and templates tailored for design sprints and research sessions.

A standout feature is the integrated AI facilitator that summarizes key decisions, captures action items, and exports structured artifacts to collaborative docs. Mural Studio claims the AI works without sending raw board content to third-party services by using in-house models and enterprise encryption.

Mural Live also introduces breakout room grids, enabling workshop hosts to move participants between sub-boards while preserving templates and timers. The company is offering a pilot to enterprise customers alongside a new admin console for governance and single sign-on.
